Blog of the day - I just got off the phone with Animal Steele, and dude has really inspired me in so many different directions, and he has given me some real advice... Notice the Freck in rotation and Steele quote... Steele is a cool dude for staying in contact since the initial interview... Anyways, the theme of today is learning... that's all I want to do... LEARN... School is almost back in, so I guess its just the season... My lil' sister is actually going off to Prairie View today... But yeah...
If most of y'all don't know, I talk to alot of people to gain as much information as possible... In this industry where so many people dumb it down, My goal is to be one of the smartest in the industry... I'm trying to be on those hip-hop panels for talk shows, conventions and things of that sort... I'm on my way huh? And from all I have learned, I may not be the smartest... but I may grow to be one of the wisest... I'm only 20 years old trying to break into the industry overnight like it was a toy store... But the key to the game is to be smart and make sure everyone knows what they need you to know without letting them know you know everything that you know...
Here are a few things I have learned coming into this industry:
-HOES LOVE AN AMBITIOUS NIGGA.
-HELPING PEOPLE HELPS ME. (SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T)
-DON'T WORRY ABOUT THINGS YOU CANT CONTROL.
-COMPLAINING IS POINTLESS. EITHER DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT OR FORGET.
-EVERYONE WANTS TO BE RIGHT, BLACK OR FAMOUS.
-IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE NEVER HAVE A JOB.
-SOMETIMES PROFESSIONALISM IS NOT ALWAYS ENOUGH.
-ORDINARY PEOPLE BY JOHN LEGEND & IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY BY TONY, TONI, TONE ARE MY FAVORITE SONGS.
-R&B SONGS ARE MY FAVORITE BUT I RATHER LISTEN TO RAP.
-WHITE GIRLS DON'T ALWAYS GIVE THE BEST HEAD. (SOMETIMES)
-IF YOU REALLY LOVE SOMETHING OR SOMEONE, DON'T LET IT DIE OR LEAVE.
-MONEY SHOULD NOT CONTROL YOUR LIFE.
-DREAMS ARE FOR NIGGAS THAT ARE SLEEPING.
-NOT EVERYONE CARES ABOUT THE SAME THINGS THAT YOU DO. TWO PEOPLE CAN SEE THE EXACT SAME THING AND SEE SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.
-I CAN GO ON ALOT FURTHER THAN I THINK I CAN.
-NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE FROM, RACISM IS STILL ALIVE... SOMETIMES AGAINST ITS OWN RACE.
-IT'S NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, IT'S WHO YOU KNOW.
